Simple, quick, easy tasty appetizer recipes?

I have gourmet tastebuds and limited cooking ability...my boyfriend has, well let's just say he is not fond of epicurean adventures...anyone have any good, simple app recipes we can both enjoy?Simple, quick, easy tasty appetizer recipes?
These little guys are sooo good... people are always intrigued by them.

Veggie Bars

Ingredients

2 cans of cresent rolls

2 blocks of cream cheese- room temp.

2 packages of hidden valley ranch dry dressing mix

broccoli - bite size pieces

cauliflower - bite size pieces

carrots (shredded)

sharp cheddar shredded cheese

You can use any type of veggie you like I think I tried it w/ squash one time...and it was just okay.

Directions

Unroll the cresent rolls and place on a greased large cookie sheet. Press seams together.

Cook as directed on package.

Cool completely.

Mix together cream cheese and dressing mix.

Spread over the prepared and cooled cresent rolls.

Sprinkle the remaining ingredients over the top and squash down with your hand so that the veggies are sticking to the cream cheese.

Refrigerate for at least an hour or longer.

Cut into squares.

These are very festive and delicious!!

2 (12 ounce) bottles Heinz Chili Sauce

1 (32 ounce) jar grape jelly

1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)

3 (5 lb) bags frozen cocktail meatballs

Combine in a medium saucepan and heat until warm.

Dump Meatballs in Crockpot and pour sauce over. Cook on low 3-4 hours.

Sounds funky but sure is tasty!
I don't know if you've ever watched the food network, but Rachael Ray (30 minute meals) always has the best recipes, and most of them are pretty simple...you can go online at foodnetwork.com and search away!
Knorr vegetable mix (probably found either in the spices or the salad dressing section) has a really good recipe for a cold spinach dip on the back that goes well with chips or vegetables. A super easy cheese ball is

1 pk. cream cheese

1pk. ranch dip mix (just add until it tastes strong enough for you)

Shredded cheddar cheese

Real Bacon bacon bits

Just mix the first two, then add the second until it starts to come together better. Then if you want you can either mix in the bacon bits, or combine the bacon bits and shredded cheddar and roll the completed cheese ball in it.
