Appetizer recipes using cherry tomatoes?

I have alot of cherry tomatoes from my garden, and going to a party tommorrow, need appetizer recipes using them. ThanksAppetizer recipes using cherry tomatoes?
Stuff with a mixture of mayonnaise, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions. Kind of like mini BLT bites.Appetizer recipes using cherry tomatoes?

push the following in a tooth pick and in the following order





One Basil Leaf


Small cube or slice of Motzarella cheese


One cherry tomoto.





optional: drizle some olive oil in the serving plate before placing the totmatoes in it . Crush some black pepper on top of the plate when ready to serve








Note: it has the italian flag colors, and it is the most popular appetizer in italy.
You can cut the tops off and stuff them with any garlic and herb spread. Or anything else you would like to stuff them with.
maybe can just eat them like that... without having to prepare them... cherry tomatoes are nice when eaten alone....... at least i think so.....
Roasted Pepper and Basil Skewers





Prep Time: 10 min


Total Time: 30 min


Makes: 16 appetizer servings, 1 skewer each





1 pkg. (16 oz.) POLLY-O Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese, cut into 16 cubes


16 fresh basil leaves


2 medium yellow or red peppers, roasted, cut into 16 small squares


16 small cherry tomatoes


16 wooden toothpicks or small wooden skewers


1/3 cup KRAFT Classic Italian Vinaigrette Dressing





INSERT 1 cheese cube, basil leaf, pepper square and tomato onto each toothpick; place in small shallow dish.


POUR dressing over skewers. Let stand 20 min. to marinate, turning occasionally.


REMOVE skewers from marinade just before serving. Discard marinade.
I love those, just put them out with some dip.
half your cherry tomatoes. Either make fresh or buy on your refrigerator isle in the grocery store pre made pizza dough. Pillsbury in the little canisters (where their biscuits are) works just perfect. Cut into little rounds or squares. Top with salt, pepper, crumbled blue cheese or feta and the cherry tomatoes. Lightly coat the bottom of a cookie sheet with olive oil. Place the rounds or squares on the cookie sheet and drizzle them with oil as well...pop in your oven at 350 until golden. Yummy.
