Does anyone have any good appetizer recipes?

No certain occasion! Thanks!Does anyone have any good appetizer recipes?
This is an easy appetizer recipe that makes a great snack and everyone will love it.

If you find yourself running out of ideas for a different appetizer or snack at the 11th hour for a party, pull this recipe out, make it and bake it and you are good to go!

Yummy Onion Focaccia

What you'll need for Onion Focaccia:

- 2 Tablespoons of butter

- 1 Tablespoon of olive oil

- 2 onions (chopped)

- salt and pepper (to taste)

- 8 slices of provolone cheese (or any kind of cheese)

- 1 focaccia (from the deli section) or Boboli cheese crust*

*horizontally split in half

First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Next, melt the butter and the olive oil in your favorite skillet. Then, cook the onions for about 15-20 minutes while stirring frequently. You want the onions to become browned and carmelized as this brings out the sugars in the onions and adds a wonderful flavor. Just make sure you don't over cook the onions so they burn.

Sprinkle the onions with a little salt and pepper and continue to stir.

Next, place the bottom of the split focaccia on an ungreased cookie sheet that you've lined with foil. Place half of the cheese on top of your focaccia. Now, you will finish off by sprinkling with the carmelized onions and the rest of your cheese slices.

The final step is to take the top focaccia slice and place it on top like a sandwich. Wrap the whole thing tightly in aluminum foil and bake it for about 15-20 minutes until you see that the cheese has melted.

Take out of the oven and cool for 5 minutes and then cut into wedges and serve to your hungry crowd.

You can also make this ahead of time, keep refrigerated and then heat it up in the oven before serving. Everyone will love it!

Artichoke Parmesan Spread is another easy appetizer recipe that you can make the day before your party or event.

What you'll need:

- 1 3-ounce package of cream cheese (softened)

- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)

- 1/4 cup dairy sour cream

- 1/2 cup marinated artichoke hearts (drained and coarsely chopped)

- 1/4 cup sliced green olives

- 2 tablespoons pepperoncini salad peppers (chopped)

- 1 tablespoon snipped fresh Italian flat-leaf parsely

- 1 teaspoon lemon peel (finely shredded)

- 20 crostini (toasted baquette slices 1/4-inch thick) or equivalent

First, in a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in the artichoke hearts, olives, peppers, parseley and the lemon peel. Spread the mixture on the crostini slices.

This recipe makes 1 1/4 cups or 20 (1-tablespoon) servings. Too good!

Super Sausage Rolls fit the bill! Easy to make and easy to eat, these yummy easy appetizers are loved by everyone.

And if you have kiddo at home, have them help you. They love to help Mom (or Dad!) in the kitchen.

Enjoy and have fun making them.

What you'll need:

- 2 packages of refrigerated crescent rolls

- 1 package cocktail franks (fully cooked)

First things first, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.

Next, separate the dough into 6-8 triangles. Then, cut each triangle into thirds (lengthwise.) You and your child can easily place the little sausages or franks on the short end of each triangle and then it roll up to the opposite point. Finally, place each rolled frank on an ungreased cookie sheet.

All you need to do now is bake the franks for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crescent rolls have turned a golden brown.

This easy appetizer recipe makes 36-48 rolls.Does anyone have any good appetizer recipes?
A few ideas are: cream cheese, sweet chili dipping sauce and chopped fresh coriander (kind of mashed up together - but not too much) - lovely used as a dip with crudites or plain crisps. Another nice one is big juicy prawns with sweet chili dipping sauce. If you want a 'ready made' one how about the little dim sum selections you can buy - or perhaps the Indian selection? Potato skins are also nice, as are nachos with all the trimmings... Yum - I'm getting hungry now!

My easiest appetizer to make is coconut shrimp. I just buy some raw shrimp, and clean them. Then dunk them in flour, a beaten egg, and then a mixture of flour and coconut. (you just need a little flour or bread crumbs to hold the coconut all together). Toss them in hot oil and fry for a few minutes until golden. Traditionally, you can serve this with an orange marmalade for dipping.
Here's an easy one. All you need are fresh mushrooms washed with the stems removed. Place on a cookie sheet with the opening side up. Mix up some Stove Top stuffing and place a spoonful in each mushroom cap. Drizzle a little melted butter/margarine over the top of each one and bake for about 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. You can also sprinkle a little grated mozarella over the top during the last couple of minutes of baking.

THIS BEAN DIP HAS GONE OVER WELL WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. (THE LOW FAT PRODUCTS ARE LESS LUMPY AND EASIER TO SPREAD, AND YOU GET THE SAME TASTE!)

1-8 oz. CONTAINER OF SOUR CREAM

1/2 PACKET OF TACO SEASONING

2 CANS OF SPICY LOW FAT REFRIED BEANS

ENOUGH SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE TO COVER TOP

MELT THE CREAM CHEESE FOR A FEW SECONDS IN THE MICROWAVE AND THEN ADD THE SOUR CREAM AND TACO SEASONING. SPREAD THE BEANS IN THE BOTTOM OF A BAKING DISH. LAYER ON THE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE AND COVER WITH THE CHEESE. YOU CAN PUT THIS IN THE MICROWAVE UNTIL THE CHEESE IS MELTED OR PUT IT IN THE OVEN OR BROILER! SERVE WITH FRITOS SCOOPS OR TORTILLA CHIPS!
