New Years Appetizer Recipes?

I am having 10 people to my house, but for a change, we are going to just be serving appetizers because every year we buy filet mignon and no one is still hungry by the time we are done with the appetizers. I was wondering what are some good appetizer recipes that are easy and yield a lot?New Years Appetizer Recipes?
Here is a simple recipe for a wonderful and delicious appetizer. I make these for all my parties. I'm actually making this for New Years Eve.

Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

1 pound ground pork sausage (I chop mine up in the food processor so it's very fine)

2 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

3-4 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, stems removed

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350.

Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and transfer to a medium bowl.

Blend cream cheese with the sausage. Stuff mushroom caps with the cream cheese and sausage mixture.

Arrange stuffed mushroom caps on a medium baking sheet. (I use a 9x13 cake pan). Bake for 15 minutes and then put under the broiler for 2 minutes to brown.

I add the following to the recipe.

I fry up garlic with my sausage and add onion powder to the mixture.

I also melt some butter and mix it with seasoned bread crumbs and grated parmesan cheese. I then take the mushrooms once filled and dip it into the bread crumbs.

They take some prep time, but they are very delicious.New Years Appetizer Recipes?
take beef smokies (little sausages) and cut in bite sized pieces

put in a saucepan %26amp; cover with beer

add tabasco (to taste)

then boil over med-hi heat until most of the liquid is boiled away (make sure to stir every now %26amp; then)

you can then drain the rest of the liquid through a colander

ENJOY!!
this is yummy!!!!

get the little cocktail weiners... i like the ones that are in the bag in the cooler department.. dont really care for the canned ones..

you wrap a peice of bacon around each on stick it with a tooth pick... put them on a baking sheet and put brown sugar all over them.. bake for 15 mins on 325... i then take them out and put in the crock pot and add a few things like bbq sauce, syrup and let them simmer.. but you can serve them just like they are...
